Old school runescape is Jagex's official term for any previous version of the runescape which was introduced from a backup from the 07 runescape account source code because it continues to be on 10August 2007.This version of the game was announced in a very news post on 13 February 2013, that is as well as the opening of any poll to ascertain community interest on 15 February 2013. Despite it having originally been stated that servers would take one to two months to become opened after having a successful poll, on 22 February 2013 included in an early on Access scheme Jagex opened 50 Old School RuneScape servers and gave a month of free Old School RuneScape membership credit thereto to all of those that had voted inside poll.
